Cambridgeshire Choral Society presents its 60th Anniversary Concert. The Society, founded in 1959 by the late Edgar Alder and Sir David Willcocks, brings together singers from across the county under the direction of Guy Turner. The society are joined by The St Michael’s Singers a group of past Cambridge undergraduates and the choir of the local Meridian Primary School in Comberton. This concert has three renowned soloists: Victoria Meteyard – Soprano, Alex Turner – Alto and Jake Muffett – Baritone. All accompanied on two pianos played by John Wright and Philip White-Jones together with spectacular percussion provided by Leicester-Shire Schools Music Service Senior Percussion Ensemble.
This is a concert not to be missed!
