MagSoc Symphony Orchestra & Chorus

Beethoven’s 5th Symphony

Monday 11th March

8:00 pm

The MagSoc Symphony Orchestra and Magsoc Chorus perform favourites of the classical repertoire.

Under the baton of Carlos Rodriguez, the MagSoc Symphony Orchestra opens the concert with the overture to Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, then tackles perhaps the best-known symphonic work of all time - Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor. After the interval, Adam McDonagh takes charge for two works by Mozart for orchestra and chorus, conducting the MagSoc Chorus in the Laudate Dominum and the Coronation Mass.

Entry on the door is free for current students and staff of Queens' College, subject to availability.
