Joy Lisney appears with the Sinfonia for the first time since her 2014 début with the orchestra to play Elgar’s Cello Concerto, preceded by a children’s choir from St John’s College School in music from Tchaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’ and followed by Dvořák’s Symphony in E minor ‘From The New World’.
