Littleport Band has been entertaining the public since around 1880. Today we are a second section band playing to the public at concerts throughout the year and competing against other brass bands in various competitions.

Waterbeach Brass, founded in 1978, is a thriving band based north of Cambridge. The band grew from seven players in a kitchen to competing in the second section of the National Brass Band Championships.

Soham Comrades Brass Band, based in the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk borders, is a friendly and ambitious second section band. The band plays at a range of contests and receives recognition for their performances by their contest placings and results.

Tom Smith is Manchester-based musician who specialises in cornet, trumpet, music technology and video editing. Tom graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2022 with First Class Honours, where he studied Music Performance on cornet under Professor Roger Webster and Richard Marshall. He is the principal cornet of the world-famous Brighouse and Rastrick Brass band, where he works closely with resident conductor Ian McElligott, and professional conductor Professor David King. He is also a founding member of the innovative Northern Quarters Brass Quartet. Tom is also a performing artist for Besson instrument manufacturers, playing on a Besson Prestige 2028 cornet.
