‘Into something rich and strange.’
Cambridge Gamelan Society and St Catharine’s Consort come together to perform an enchanting programme of traditional and contemporary vocal and gamelan music alongside Javanese dance. The concert features a rare performance of Alec Roth’s ‘Full Fathom Five’ combining choir and gamelan, vocal works by John Cage and Christopher Fox, and traditional Javanese gamelan.
Supported by the Centre for Music Performance.
