Opening the event, Professor Hugh Hunt will set the scene on climate change and what we can do about it.

During the first session, undergraduate student George Herbert speaks with Professor Maggie Faultless on sustainability in college musical life and beyond, touching on ingrained problems in defining success in a musical career, and how musicians can make a difference.

Following this, students Nina Vinther and Harrison Cole will use live performances of art song to discuss how nature is portrayed in music and how it can be used in the future.

Ben Comeau and Emily Ashton lead the final session on activism through music, sharing anecdotal experiences of music used in protest, as well as working in community engagement.

The evening will close with a panel Q&A session and you can join the speakers, performers, and Green Team in the foyer afterwards for more informal discussion and drinks!
