Join us for a breath-taking evening of symbolic and spiritual Whirling Dervish performance accompanied by traditional Turkish Sufi music by master musicians!

The Mevlevi Sema Ceremony, which was proclaimed a Masterpiece in 2005 in UNESCO's Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Program, was registered on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008.

The Whirling Dervishes Mevlevi Sema Ceremony & Devran Dhikr will be presented and performed by İstanbul Tasavvuf İrfan ve Meydan Meşkleri Topluluğu (Istanbul Sufi Ceremonies Ensemble), a specialised ensemble officially established in 2018 under the Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and represents master vocal and instrumental artists and ensemble of senior Semazens (Whirling Dervishes).
