What does it take to mend a family? Amidst the tumult of early 2000s Hong Kong, the newly impoverished Kwan family has reached their lowest point.

Stitches is a play that explores the fraught relationship between a discouraged father, a burdened mother, and a closeted son struggling to connect with both of his parents. As the three of them navigate new jobs and relationships against the backdrop of economic downturn and the SARS epidemic, they are forced to confront the omnipresent frictions between society and self.
